Job summary

Kamin Science Center is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (B-Level) in Norwood, MA. The role focuses on routine repairs, diagnostic work, and preventative maintenance, with wide-ranging responsibilities to restore vehicles efficiently.

Earn $25.00-$35.00 per hour and enjoy a strong benefits package including weekly pay. Candidates should have automotive experience and manufacturer certifications; a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background and drug tests are required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and work on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as per Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work done and results.
