Job summary

Asbury is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (B Level) in the United States, MA, Sudbury. You will perform routine repairs, diagnose with some assistance, and complete warranty and vehicle repairs while maintaining high CSI scores.

You must have basic tools, strong technical and mechanical skills, and be a team player. ASE and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred, and prior automotive technician experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools.
• Great technical and mechanical skills are required.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and time on the repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury.
• Conduct road tests to determine work needed and verify completion when required.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles at all levels.
• Perform preventive/routine maintenance services.
