Job summary

BMW of Freehold, a Lithia & Driveway dealership, is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our busy team and support our growing customer base and vehicle inventory.

Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders, diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles for quality, and document work and time per procedures. ASE certs and a clean driving record are a plus; competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred; BMW of Highline a plus.
• Experience with automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete work per safety standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document work and time per company procedures.
• Maintain inventory of standard mechanic tools.

What You’ll Do

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards

Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements

Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work

Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures

Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools

What You’ll Bring

ALL LEVELS of TECHNICIANS WITH EXPERIERNCE! ASE Certifications BMW of Highline a plus! Strong work ethic Desire to grow as an automotive tech A great communicator with a positive attitude! Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The flat rate range for this position is $20.00 to $35.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
