Job summary

Frontroyalchevrolet is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles on-site, delivering quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate work and clear communication.

Ideal candidates hold ASE certification or equivalent, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. A signing bonus up to 5,000 USD and toolbox relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on various vehicle makes and models.
• Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest tools provided.
• Maintain courtesy toward all customers.
• Act as a secondary customer greeter to unacknowledged customers.
• Stay up to date with technical publications and service tools.
• Ensure safe and proper vehicle service delivered the first time.
• Address original customer concerns before adding sales.
• Inspect vehicles for additional sales opportunities per local and factory guidelines.
• Return vehicles clean or cleaner than arrival.
• Participate in training programs offered by factory or in-house.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach shop forms to RO copies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager or leaders.
• Come to work on time, in a clean uniform.
