Compensation

• Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday & Sunday
• Base pay up to $21.25/hr with annual performance-based merit raises*

Job Duties

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will perform a variety of services in our Automotive Service Center, including but not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Repairing and installing tires
• Balancing wheels
• Installing batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts
• Performing oil changes
• Brake system repairs
• Repairing starting and charging systems
• Steering and suspension work
• Shock/strut installation
• Performing alignments
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring
• Other duties with progressive on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English
• Effective communication with customers and coworkers
• At least 18 years old
• Preferred prior auto repair and retail experience
• *Michigan Stores Only* ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II; ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications or equivalents required for Tech Level III, along with Michigan-specific certifications.
