Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide estimates for repairs.
5. Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required or willingness to achieve.
• A/B/C level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
