Job summary

Preston Auto Group is seeking a dependable Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will work with a skilled team using modern diagnostic equipment while delivering high-quality workmanship for a safe driving experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per manufacturer and dealership standards
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic equipment as needed
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts
• Maintain an accurate record of parts and time on each repair order
