Job Summary:
Nissan Williamsburg is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. As a commission-only Technician, you will perform a wide range of automotive services and repairs on various Nissan vehicles. This is a full-time role in the auto industry requiring dedication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a commission-only role with a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $35, depending on experience and skills. Technicians will be paid semi-monthly and can earn additional compensation through commissions on services performed. The position offers health insurance, retirement benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the Nissan brand.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine automotive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot drivability, mechanical, and electrical issues on Nissan vehicles
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs
4. Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and repair vehicle issues
5. Complete repairs and services within established timelines while maintaining quality standards
6. Document all services and repairs accurately and promptly
7. Update knowledge and skills through training and professional development
8. Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience as an automotive service technician
• Knowledge and experience working on Nissan vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
