Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rhinelander, WI is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for our Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM location. You will diagnose, repair and service vehicles, using diagnosis tools and dealership procedures. Monday–Friday shifts provide weekends off, with a production bonus and comprehensive benefits including PTO and 401(k).

Ideal candidates have automotive technician experience, knowledge of modern vehicle systems, and a customer‑oriented approach. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers about additional services needed.
• Provide estimates of time for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specs.

We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician at our Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM location in Rhinelander. As an automotive technician, you will enjoy all that our state‑of‑the‑art shop has to offer, including a bright, well‑lit work area and top‑not equipment. You will also have the opportunity for growth and certification through all‑expenses‑paid manufacturer training. This position works Monday–Friday, so you can enjoy your weekends off with family and friends! Compensation ranges from $55,000–$85,000 annually, depending on your experience and proficiency. You’ll also earn a yearly production bonus just in time for the holidays, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive PTO and a 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well‑informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred
