Job summary

Toyota of North Miami is seeking a professional, customer-oriented Service Technician to join our expanding team in South Florida. In our new multi-million dollar facility, you will perform repairs, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose automotive systems, while delivering service that meets manufacturer standards.

• Strong teamwork skills.
• Certifications & prior experience at an automotive dealership.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid U.S. Driver's license
