Rohrman Auto Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team and keep customers' vehicles running at peak performance. We provide state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer training, and a strong book of business to maximize productivity and income.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, performing maintenance and warranty work, and maintaining documentation. We offer growth through ongoing training and mentorship in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred; actively pursuing certification encouraged.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or shop setting.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software; brand-specific experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete all repair orders thoroughly and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status, additional needed repairs, and completion timelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with shop and OSHA standards.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with evolving technology.
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
