Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair automotive systems, provide accurate labor estimates, and clearly explain repairs to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service.
• ASE Certified per industry standards.
• Team oriented with a focus on high level customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems to dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to customers in non-technical terms.
• Continuously learn new technical information in formal training to stay updated with technology.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings to guide repairs.

Automotive Service Technician

We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Ed Morse team.

Responsibilities

• As a Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• ASE Certified
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check,DMV screen, and drug screen
