Job summary

Ed Morse Honda - Riviera Beach is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles across our growing Florida locations. You will perform maintenance and repairs to exact dealership standards, provide accurate labor estimates, and explain complex repairs in clear language to customers and service advisors.

We value ASE certification, a minimum of 3 years of experience, and a team-oriented attitude focused on customer service.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service.
• ASE Certified technician.
• Team oriented with strong customer service focus.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment including wheel/tire, alignment, diagnostics, and AC equipment.
• Willing to submit to background checks and DMV/drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems per dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers in plain language.
• Continuously learn new technical information to stay current with technology.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings to guide repairs.

Automotive Service Technician

We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Ed Morse team.

Responsibilities

• As a Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• ASE Certified
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check,DMV screen, and drug screen
