• Ability to read manufacturer specifications and follow standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, and filters.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems with diagnostic tools.
• Inspect vehicles to identify problems and recommend repairs.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about issues and costs.
• Repair per manufacturer specs and dealership standards.
• Keep records of work, parts, and time spent.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Stay current with automotive tech, tools, and procedures via training.
• Assist in complex troubleshooting and guide junior technicians.
• Test drive to verify proper functionality after repairs.

Job Responsibilities**

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated costs.
• Execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair procedures through ongoing training and certifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex issues and provide technical guidance to junior technicians when needed.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality after repairs are completed.

Compensation Range: $45,00 to $90,000 +

Job Qualifications**

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited automotive technology program is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications are a strong plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram vehicles.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
