Job summary

Lithia & Driveway, the nation’s largest automotive retailer, is hiring BMW of Freehold technicians of all levels. The role offers a flat rate pay range from $20 to $40 per hour, plus performance incentives, with full-time hours and Saturday availability.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing brakes, suspension, steering, engine maintenance, and electrical diagnostics, and road-testing completed work. A valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Class A, B and/or C level technicians with 2-5 years of experience in a dealership or private shop.
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems.
• Ability to independently perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs.
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete all work according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, recording procedures, results and time.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanic tools.
