Job summary

Midas is seeking an automotive service store manager to oversee the service department at a retail tire and auto shop. You will manage and direct all service technicians, ensure quality inspections, build repair orders, and discuss estimates with customers.

You will lead, train and develop a team of up to six staff, maintain inventory and shop cleanliness, and align with company values while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of store or service manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and build repair orders, sourcing parts as needed.
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with company values and creed.
• Supervise up to six employees and oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Maintain inventory counts and overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
