Job summary

Grease Monkey Vancouver/Battle Ground is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage front desk tasks and provide exceptional service in an automotive repair center. This hourly position requires expert level experience in automotive repair and service and welcomes candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet customers, explain services, process payments, maintain the waiting area, and support the manager in resolving complaints.

Qualifications

• Must have expert level experience in automotive repair and service.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic literacy (read, writing, math), verbal and written communication, keyboarding skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous customer service and general office experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with waiting customers and answering inquiries.
• Educate customers regarding vehicle services, fluids, and promotions.
• Review service orders with customers at checkout and explain services performed.
• Process payments using the computer system and credit card machines.
• Assist manager in resolving customer complaints and maintain front office area.
