Job summary

Town and Country Toyota, part of Sonic Automotive, in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a Service Greeter/Porter. You will move service customer vehicles to keep traffic flowing and maintain an orderly service parking area for customer convenience.

The role includes greeting customers, recording vehicle details, directing traffic, parking, assisting with loaner vehicles, and delivering keys and repair orders. We offer strong training, competitive pay, and growth within Sonic Automotive.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly, upbeat service to customers.
• Comfort with recording vehicle information and verifying appointments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (background, MVR, drug test, credit, license).

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a friendly attitude and directs them to the right person.
• Verifies if customers have appointments and records name, VIN, mileage and any damage.
• Controls service traffic, parking, and assists with loaner vehicles as needed.
• Parks vehicles after write-up and ensures zero lot damage.
• Delivers keys and repair orders to the Service Advisor promptly.
• Maintains a clean, safe service drive and reports any hazards.
• Follows all safety policies and conducts duties in a professional manner.
