Qualifications

Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, Service Advisor, or similar leadership role.
Automotive repair industry experience required.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate customers—not pressure them.
Ability to read repair orders and understand vehicle maintenance recommendations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer proficiency and point-of-sale experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians
Drive sales while maintaining an outstanding customer experience
Schedule and manage shop workflow for maximum productivity
Monitor daily sales, labor, gross profit, and key performance indicators
Review repair recommendations for accuracy and value
Ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and on time
Hire, train, and develop team members
Maintain inventory and control operating expenses
Build relationships with fleet customers and local businesses
Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
Perform opening and closing manager responsibilities
Create a positive team culture focused on accountability, communication, and results
