Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the repair shop, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive sales and profitability.

You will oversee service advisors and technicians, manage workflow for maximum productivity, coach staff, ensure repairs are completed safely and on time, and build strong relationships with customers and fleet accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive Service Manager or similar leadership role.
• Automotive repair industry experience required.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Sales-oriented with ability to educate customers.
• Ability to read repair orders and maintenance recommendations.

Position Summary

The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the repair shop while creating an exceptional customer experience and achieving sales and profitability goals.

This position leads the service advisors and technicians, oversees workflow, maintains shop efficiency, coaches team members, and ensures repairs are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can motivate a team, develop employees, build customer trust, and drive business growth.

• Ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and on time

• Build relationships with fleet customers and local businesses

• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, Service Advisor, or similar leadership role
• Automotive repair industry experience required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate customers—not pressure them
• Ability to read repair orders and understand vehicle maintenance recommendations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer proficiency and point-of-sale experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certifications are a plus
• Experience with shop management software
• Experience managing technicians and service advisors
• Fleet account management experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to safely operate customer vehicles
• Comfortable working in both office and shop environments
