Job summary

Mass Diesel Performance in Bellingham, MA is seeking a Service Advisor/Service Manager for our busy diesel light-duty repair shop. The role combines customer service with shop supervision, estimating, parts ordering, and coordinating technicians.

Ideal candidates have automotive knowledge, strong communication and selling skills, and a desire for long-term growth. Workweek is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of service experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service disposition
• Good communication skills
• Excellent selling skills
• Leadership ability to dispatch work to techs
• Team building skill

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers and deal with all situations
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations - building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop services
• Lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies outlook
• Supervise up to 5 employees
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic light duty trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Other duties as assigned Managing the techs and keep theem going thru day
• A minimum of 2 years of service experience
