Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the Service Department at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana. This role directs the department to attract, develop, and retain top talent while delivering exceptional service experiences for customers.

As a leader in a large, multi-brand automotive group, you will drive service performance, implement Napleton processes, and focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive Service Management experience in a high-volume dealership.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Experience with technology.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Setting a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targets.
• Driving an efficient sales and production operation to service customers and fix it right the first time.
• Engaging and motivating the team to meet goals and Napleton processes.
• Attracting, developing, and retaining top Service Department talent.
• Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Ensuring the Service area is customer-ready with proper displays and information.
• Managing the business per Napleton and manufacturer requirements.
• Analyzing the business to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
• Driving the business through day-to-day involvement in operations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance goals.
• Driving a highly efficient sales and production operation to quickly service Customers while ensuring a fix it right the first time, experience.
• Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals and performance expectations following Napleton's processes.
• Attracting, developing, and retaining the very best talent for the Service Department.
• Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
• Ensuring the Service area is customer-customer ready with proper displays and information.
• Managing the business in accordance with Napleton and the manufacturer's requirements and processes.
• Analyzing the business to determine opportunities and developing actions plans to improve performance.
• Driving the business though day to day involvement in the operations.
• Other duties as assigned as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive Service Management experience in a high -volume dealership
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Experience and desire to work with technology
• Valid Driver's License and have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
