Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department and drive efficiency and profitability across day-to-day operations.

You will oversee communications with customers, supervise technicians and service advisors, and ensure adherence to quality standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role offers a competitive base with commission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive service or dealership service department experience; management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
• ASE certifications preferred; technical/trade training viewed as an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems; solid math aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; high school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the service department team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns, diagnoses, and repair recommendations.
• Oversee diagnosis and repair processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process, from drop-off to delivery.
• Manage service department scheduling, workflow, and productivity.
• Monitor department performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership service standards.
• Coach and develop service advisors and technicians.

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department team. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day service operations, ensure customers receive clear communication and outstanding service, and help the department run efficiently and profitably.

Compensation

• $120,000.00–$150,000.00 annually, based on experience
• Base Salary + Commission

Requirements
