Job summary

American Tire Depot in Pomona, CA is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service team, coach techs and advisors, and ensure world-class customer care. This full-time role drives sales and service targets while coordinating daily shop operations with the Store Manager.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and growth toward Store Manager or Multi-Unit leadership as the company expands. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in automotive service management or retail repair leadership.
• Strong background in service sales (tires, brakes, maintenance, or mechanical).
• Proven ability to lead a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs; weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team — train, coach, and motivate techs & advisors to perform at their best.
• Bridge between mechanics and customers: explain repairs, recommend services, and close sales with confidence.
• Drive store performance by hitting and exceeding sales & service targets.
• Partner with Store Manager on daily operations, scheduling, and compliance.
• Keep the shop efficient, safe, and aligned with company standards.
• Ensure every customer gets world-class service that builds loyalty and trust.
