Job Summary

Combine your automotive repair knowledge with people skills to manage customer relationships, serve as a liaison between technicians and customers, and lead a team of vehicle technicians. Assist with parts, materials, and equipment purchases.

Responsibilities
  1. Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff based on skill levels.
  2. Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
  3. Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
  4. Maintain high teammate retention.
  5. Ensure quality standards compliance.
  6. Manage customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  7. Develop understanding of store operations to improve efficiency.
  8. Drive sales through customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
  9. Provide insights to facilitate product and service sales.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years of auto service technical experience.
  • 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
  • Customer complaint problem solving skills.
  • Inventory, scheduling, and equipment management aptitude.
  • Leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to continue automotive education.
  • Valid driver’s license for test drives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-year degree or equivalent.
