Job summary

Midas is seeking a Store Manager to lead service department activities for our tire and automotive repair shop. The role emphasizes delivering quality customer service, managing inspections, repairs, and pricing discussions.

The position calls for automotive knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to supervise a team in a customer-focused retail environment. Weekend/evening shifts and a commitment to our standards are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of store or service manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge and ASE awareness recommended.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and create repair orders with parts sourcing.
• Present pricing estimates and promote shop service specials.
• Lead, manage and train the team while aligning with the company vision and values.
• Supervise up to ten employees to ensure quality work.
• Oversee inspections, diagnostics and repairs on domestic, European and Asian vehicles.

We are looking for automotive service managers to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies’ vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
• Supervise up to ten employees
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Other duties as assigned
