Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive in Alabama is seeking an Automotive Service Estimator/Advisor to quickly and accurately build estimates for recommended repairs and manage digital inspections for guest viewing. You will ensure repair orders account for time and parts needed to complete jobs, while also guiding customers through the repair process.

Primary responsibilities include building DVIs, sourcing parts, updating job statuses, coordinating with techs and vendors, and front-end parts

Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive customer service or service advisor role.
• Proficient with Windows-based software and automotive store applications.
• Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Build DVIs and Estimates.
• Source parts and build estimates.
• Update Job Board Promise Times & Job Status Categories.
• Coordinate with Technicians regarding inspections and proposed repairs.
• Coordinate with Vendors regarding parts.
• Front-end Parts Reconciliation (receiving and returning).
• Present the best solution to properly repair the customer’s vehicle.
• Manage the store’s workflow efficiently.
• Sell services while maintaining honesty and integrity.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere and communicate clearly by phone.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and the store.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
