GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The cashier assists the Service & Parts Managers to deliver the extra-ordinary customer service necessary to achieve stated objectives in operations, cash control, expenses, guest service, and cleanliness. The cashier assists the Controller/Office Manager to maintain accurate accounting of cash, credit cards, service and parts invoices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strives to develop and maintain a superior level of customer service by using professional and appropriate techniques in all communications.
• Supports the compliance of established company policies, procedures, and adherence to policies on a daily basis including courteous and effective customer service.
• Monitor and maintain proper store cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance per company guidelines.
• Timely and accurate store reporting. Accurate accounting of cash and credit cards.
• Responsible for the security and accountability for all company assets including but not limited to: cash, credit cards, merchandise, fuel, equipment, and property.

LEADERSHIP

• Champion, develop and maintain "high performance team" atmosphere
• Looks for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and organization of work and methods
• Other responsibilities will be assisting receptionist and other duties as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Minimum required education: high school diploma or GED
• Associates Degree or higher Preferred
• Basic working knowledge of retail operations and customer service
• Basic working knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English

Work History

• At least six months experience in a retail position
• Team building

Availability

• Must be flexible in work schedule in terms of hours and days required
• Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills
