Job summary

Lexus of Oxnard, part of Ken Garff Automotive Group, is seeking an Automotive Service BDC Representative. You will handle customer calls, schedule service appointments, and maintain customer records with courtesy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous inbound/outbound customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers, able to manage multiple systems.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented; strong problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer focused.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Answer all customer calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedule service appointments based on customer needs.
• Maintain and update customer records accurately.
• Develop knowledge of dealership products and services.
• Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business.

**The pay scale above is the compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, relevant education and/or training, and performance related bonuses and incentives

Here’s what you'll be doing:

• Answer all customer calls promptly and professionally
• Determine customer’s primary concern and schedule the necessary appointment
• Communicate with each customer in a fashion that leaves them feeling comfortable and informed every time
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services and needs of the dealerships
• Establish and maintain great customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
• Work as a team player and uphold the company’s standards of professionalism and integrity

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Previous inbound/outbound customer service, call center, or sales experience a plus
• Proficient computer skills, ability to manage multiple systems, and ability to type 40 + wpm
• Must be energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented
• Strong customer service skills: problem solving and communication (written and verbal)
• Strong record of positive customer satisfaction
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
