As an Automotive Service-Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will act as the Manager on Duty. Your focus will be on promoting our shop and services through outstanding customer service, maintaining shop cleanliness, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Customer Satisfaction
• Identify customer concerns and needs
• Review completed inspections professionally, offering solutions and benefits
• Conduct invoicing and delivery, reviewing work, warranties, and scheduling next appointments
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing shop operations and staff for sales and profitability
• Ensure shop personnel follow inspection, sales, and safety procedures
• Support the Store Manager in hiring and maintaining a professional staff reflecting the company culture
• Help control costs, shop maintenance, payroll, and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of automotive industry trends
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication, leadership, and financial interpretation skills
