Job summary

Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to connect customers with service excellence in a fast-paced team environment.

The role involves greeting customers, scheduling service appointments, communicating repair needs and timelines, and coordinating orders with technicians while maintaining accurate records to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service and/or sales experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills; English required; Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
• Communicate repair needs, estimates and timelines clearly.
• Coordinate repair orders with Technicians.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Recommend additional maintenance or services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service records.
