Job summary

ASAP Automotive & Transmission in Bear, Delaware is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. The position offers a base salary of $60,000-$80,000 with commission and weekly pay, plus an earning potential of $70,000-$100,000+ per year.

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with no weekends. Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting symptoms, building repair estimates, presenting maintenance recommendations, coordinating repair orders, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical repairs clearly
• Experience preparing repair estimates and presenting maintenance recommendations
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple repair orders
• Comfortable using shop management software; AutoLeap experience is a plus
• Positive, team-oriented, and accountable attitude
• Independent repair shop experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver an exceptional service experience from arrival through vehicle delivery
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms
• Build repair estimates and clearly explain recommended maintenance and repair services
• Communicate with technicians throughout the repair process to ensure efficient workflow
• Keep customers informed on repair progress and estimated completion times
• Present Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) findings and maintenance recommendations
• Coordinate repair orders from check-in through final delivery
• Build long-term customer relationships through honest communication and outstanding service
