Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Secondary Service Advisor to support our Lead Service Advisor and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full-time Service Advisor role while learning our proven processes and working alongside an experienced team.

Position Overview

As our Secondary Service Advisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our service department running smoothly. You'll assist the Lead Service Advisor with customer communication, appointment scheduling, estimate preparation, vehicle check-ins, follow‑up calls, parts coordination, and administrative responsibilities. As your experience grows, you'll take on increased responsibility and become an essential member of our service team.

Daily Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Service Advisor throughout the day
• Welcome customers and perform vehicle check-in
• Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow
• Prepare estimates using shop management software
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers
• Provide repair updates and answer customer questions
• Coordinate with technicians and parts vendors
• Review completed repairs with customers
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Follow American Five Star's VVRP process and service procedures
• Help maintain exceptional customer satisfaction
• Support daily front office operations

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred
• Service Advisor or Service Writer experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
• Comfortable using computers and estimating software
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Dependable and eager to learn
