Job summary

Honda of Princeton is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to be the primary contact between customers and the Service Department. You’ll help customers understand their vehicle’s service needs, recommend maintenance and repairs, and ensure a smooth experience from check-in to delivery.

Automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Join our team in Princeton, NJ and grow through training, development and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus.
• Automotive, dealership, sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and identify service needs.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services.
• Prepare accurate repair orders.
• Explain services, pricing and repair recommendations.
• Communicate with technicians and monitor vehicle progress.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Obtain authorization for additional repairs.
• Review completed work with customers.
• Coordinate vehicle pickup and delivery.
• Follow up with customers after service.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information.
• Work toward sales and customer satisfaction goals.
