Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Waterloo, IL is seeking a Service Advisor to sell and promote all products and services and to help manage shop workflow. They serve as the on-duty manager when the store manager is away, greeting customers, documenting concerns, and driving timely estimates and service approvals.

You will provide quotes, update customers, and promote services while maintaining a high standard of customer care. This position offers competitive pay and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or automotive field is preferred.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work Saturdays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone using standardized techniques.
• Listen to concerns, inspect vehicle, reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and document all recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time; give updates.
• Process cash-outs with warranty explanations and multi-point inspection review.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new and warranty parts returns for individual customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
