Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Service Advisor to promote services, greet customers, and manage shop workflow. You will document concerns, relay technician recommendations, and provide accurate quotes with timing and costs. The role includes handling payments, updates, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.

Compensation includes $17-$19/hour plus commission; previous service-advisor or automotive sales experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or automotive field.
• Professional appearance; able to work in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone.
• Document concerns and inspect vehicle history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and relay technician recommendations to customers.
• Provide accurate quotes with costs and completion times; update customers.
• Process payments after service with warranty explanations.
• Follow up post-repair to ensure satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
