Jeff Wyler Colerain Hyundai is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, document vehicle condition, and coordinate Service visits in a fast-paced environment. You willverify warranties, generate estimates, and communicate clearly with customers about costs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Service advisor experience in automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly in the service drive.
• Walk around the customer vehicle to document damage, tire condition, and opportunities for services.
• Listen to customer complaints and description of symptoms; check maintenance records.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage; explain provisions and exclusions.
• Generate service order estimates and quotes from a menu of services.
• Understand the diagnosis and service recommendations from technicians.
• Verify availability of required repair parts.
• Explain cost, service process, and time requirements to customers.
• Establish completion expectations with the customer.
• Monitor repair progress and inform when vehicle is ready and concerns addressed.
• Document services performed or recommendations; explain cost adjustments as needed.
• Maintain satisfactory customer service scores as prescribed by the manufacturer and dealer.
