Job summary

Berman Kia of Lincolnwood is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team. This full-time position offers a compensation of $115,000+ annually (commission position) and opportunities for career advancement.

You’ll greet customers, gather vehicle information, document service needs, prepare estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs. Strong communication and a 1+ year service writing background are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Service Writing experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service needs and recommendations
• Proficient in computer systems and automotive service software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Gather customer and vehicle information

• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
