Durango Motor Company is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team in Colorado. Earn $55,000–$100,000+ per year with strong growth potential.

You will greet guests, document vehicle concerns, and coordinate with technicians to provide accurate estimates and timely status updates. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive service writing/advisor experience preferred.
• Tekion experience preferred but not required.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Guest-service focused with a commitment to CSI and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple repair orders.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking accountability.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally.
• Obtain accurate guest and vehicle information.
• Document vehicle symptoms and concerns.
• Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle data.
• Prepare complete labor and parts estimates.
• Establish follow-up times with guests.
• Monitor progress of each vehicle and communicate updates to guests.

• Verify final invoice reflects work performed.
• Explain repairs and charges to guests clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally
• Obtain accurate guest and vehicle information
• Listen carefully to guest concerns and clearly document vehicle symptoms
• Determine and recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs based on vehicle age, mileage, service history, and manufacturer recommendations
• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for labor and parts
• Establish clear follow-up times with guests
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day
• Communicate proactively with guests and provide regular updates throughout the repair process
• Coordinate with technicians and the service team to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
• Verify that the final invoice accurately reflects the work performed on the repair order
• Review completed work and explain repairs and charges clearly to guests
• Build lasting relationships with guests through honesty, transparency, and genuine care

Requirements

• Previous automotive service writing/advisor experience preferred
• Tekion experience preferred, but not required
• Positive, professional attitude
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Guest-service focused with a commitment to CSI and guest satisfaction
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple repair orders
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking individual responsibility and accountability
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Willingness to submit to a pre‑employment background check
• Frequently sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
• Occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
