Mac's Auto Repair and Tire Center is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, assess concerns, and schedule service while leveraging automotive knowledge. You will work with shop personnel to provide accurate estimates and ensure smooth workflow.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and the use of Mitchell 1, ALLDATA, and other automotive software. This position offers weekends off, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in auto repair or similar environment.
• 2+ years of retail sales/customer service experience (automotive, tire, or lube background preferred).
• Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, tires, and standard repair procedures.
• Proficiency with automotive software platforms (Mitchell 1, ALLDATA) and computer sales systems.
• High School diploma or comparable vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and accurately determine service needs.
• Research repair procedures, parts, and labor using Mitchell 1, ALLDATA, and Protractor & Auto Flow.
• Create detailed Repair Orders (ROR), present estimates, and obtain customer approval before work begins.
• Serve as the central relay point between customers and technicians to ensure repairs run smoothly.
• Review completed work with customers, collect payments, and manage end-of-day sales and cash procedures.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair shop, dealership, or comparable environment.
• 2+ years of retail sales/customer service experience (automotive, tire, or lube background preferred).

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
