L & R Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing, family-owned shop in Colorado. This role focuses on guiding customers through the repair process and maintaining clear communication between front counter and technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor or Service Manager experience.
• Understands automotive repair and maintenance.
• Can confidently present estimates without being pushy.
• Understands selling repairs versus informing customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to concerns.
• Document customer concerns accurately.
• Build and present repair estimates.
• Review Digital Vehicle Inspections with customers.
• Explain repairs in clear terms to customers.
• Handle questions and objections professionally.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate workflow with technicians.
• Manage repair orders from drop-off to completion.
• Notify customers when vehicles are finished.
• Maintain an organized and productive shop.
• Deliver a customer experience that keeps people coming back.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You'll be responsible for helping guide our customers through the repair process while keeping communication between the front counter and technicians running smoothly.

That includes:

• Greeting customers and listening to their concerns.
• Accurately documenting customer concerns.
• Building and presenting repair and maintenance estimates.
• Reviewing Digital Vehicle Inspections with customers.
• Explaining repairs and maintenance in a way customers understand.
• Handling customer questions and objections professionally.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Coordinating workflow with our technicians.
• Managing repair orders from drop-off through completion.
• Making sure customers are promptly notified when their vehicles are finished.
• Helping maintain an organized and productive shop.
• Delivering the type of customer experience that keeps people coming back.

• Has previous automotive Service Advisor or Service Manager experience.
• Understands automotive repair and maintenance.
• Can confidently present estimates without being pushy.
• Understands the difference between selling repairs and helping customers make informed decisions.
• Communicates well with customers and technicians.
• Can handle a busy shop without losing track of details.
• Takes ownership instead of making excuses.
• Follows through on what they say they're going to do.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.

• Works well as part of a team.
