Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Sales Representative to join our team in Muscatine, IA. This family-oriented company offers 80+ years of industry experience and a network of locations across several states.

You will consult with customers to find vehicles that fit their wants and needs, prospect new buyers, and strive to reach sales targets while providing excellent service. A valid driver’s license is required and one year of automotive sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive sales experience required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Ed Morse Steps to the Sale for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with customers to find a vehicle to fit their specific wants and needs
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Gain a working knowledge of the product line
• Attend training offered by both manufacture and the Ed Morse Automotive Group
• The professional completion of all sales related paperwork
• Following the Ed Morse “Steps to the Sale” to ensure complete customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive sales experience required
• Steady work history and a strong desire to succeed
• Basic MS Office knowledge and internet proficiency
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills
• Valid Driver's license
