Job summary

Nielsen Chevrolet in Dover, NJ is seeking motivated, personable individuals to join our sales team as Automotive Sales Consultants. Prior automotive sales experience is not required; we provide paid training in product knowledge, customer communication, dealership systems, and the sales process.

You will welcome customers, ask questions to identify needs, review vehicles, demonstrate features, and guide customers through the purchase with a structured process.

Qualifications

• No prior automotive sales experience required.
• Relevant customer-facing experience is helpful.
• Must be coachable and able to learn a structured sales process.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a professional dealership experience.
• Ask questions to identify vehicle needs and budget.
• Assist customers in reviewing new and used vehicles.
• Explain features, warranties, programs, and dealership information.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and accompany test drives.
• Respond to showroom inquiries via in-person, phone, email, or text.
• Schedule and follow up on customer appointments.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM and follow-up activity.
