Job summary

Mountain States Toyota, part of the Sonic Automotive family, seeks Sales Professionals to drive vehicle sales while meeting dealership goals for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes prospecting, selling, and follow-up with a focus on customer care and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guarantee satisfaction of customers.
• Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure understanding of features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Establish personal income goals and devise a plan to meet them.
• Report to the Vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Maintain a prospect development system.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system for repeat/referral business.
• Review actions to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
• Understand automotive terminology and evolving technology.
