Job summary

Don Wood Hyundai in Athens, OH is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant. You will greet customers, perform needs analyses, demonstrate vehicles, and guide buyers through model options and financing options to close sales.

You will use our database to check model availability, negotiate prices, and handle paperwork, delivery, and registration. The role includes ongoing training and a promise of professional growth within the dealership.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license required for all employees.
• Abillity to Speak a second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the showroom floor and perform a needs analysis to determine vehicle preferences (make, type, features).
• Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicles in showroom or on road.
• Research model availability and options using the dealership database.
• Negotiate sales price including tax, trade-in, license fees, and financing or lease terms.
• Walk the lot to inspect inventory and complete all paperwork for delivery and registration.
• Attend required training and department meetings and maintain regular attendance.
