Job summary

LaFontaine Ford Lansing is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join a growing, family-driven company that promotes from within and supports community involvement. You will greet customers, demonstrate vehicle features, qualify buyers, and close sales on showroom or road tests.

Responsibilities include presenting options, quoting prices, handling paperwork, delivering vehicles, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR are required.
• Sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers on sales floor and determines vehicle needs.
• Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicles.
• Quotes prices including tax, trade-in, and financing options.
• Prepares related paperwork and applications.
• Delivers new vehicles and ensures customer understanding of features and warranty.
• Meets or exceeds written sales forecasts and targets.
