Automotive Sales Porter

Fowler Toyota has an outstanding opportunity for a detailed, task-oriented, motivated, customer service-minded Porter for our growing dealership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive customer vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Drive vehicles through car wash.
  • Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
  • Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
  • Park vehicles in the lot in an orderly manner.
  • Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
  • Wash and prepare new and used vehicles for lot display.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
