Description

Service BDC Associate

You have outstanding communication skills, great phone skills, are motivated and energetic. Showcase your talents for a company that recognizes and rewards you! The Service Business Development Center (BDC) Agent serves as a liaison between the dealership and its customers. Develops procedures to maximize appointments via the telephone or other outside sources. Assists department managers and technicians to administer customer relations programs designed to build and retain a loyal customer base.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in generating and posting reports and logs of incoming calls, made and sold service appointments.
  • Manage a high volume of customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and chat.
  • Obtain basic demographic information about each customer using a computer system, log sheet, or other established method.
  • Prepare and post reports for all appointments made daily.
  • Communicate all missed opportunities with management.
  • Work in a team environment to provide customers with a top-level experience.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Excellent telephone skills are essential.
  • Ability to instantly build rapport with clients.
  • Friendly yet professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Enjoy talking on the phone and helping customers.
  • Overcome customer objections to set appointments.
  • Strong organizational skills to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions for tasks assigned by the Business Development Manager.
  • Determination to follow-up effectively with customers.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and oral formats.
