Job Overview

Fowler Automotive has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Parts Warehouse Associate. This position collaborates with the parts manager and warehouse manager to ensure proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verify order accuracy and quantities
• Stock incoming parts and assign bin locations daily
• Pick parts for counter sales
• Check in returned parts, review invoices, and locate parts for restocking
• Prepare, box, label, and document shipments
• Assist with annual parts inventory and returns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts area
• Support delivery drivers by pulling parts for deliveries
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Handle customer orders for pickups or deliveries confidently
• Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
• Unload trucks nightly, process paperwork, and handle cash or checks responsibly

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR
• Professional communication skills with customers
• Ability to operate a vehicle in heavy traffic and drive up to 250 miles/day
• Courtesy and professionalism while driving, obeying traffic laws
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds regularly. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively to customers and team members.
