McGovern Hyundai of Wilmington is seeking a high-energy Sales Manager to lead our sales leadership team in a brand-new facility. A strong track record in automotive sales and used car market expertise is essential, with a compensation package that includes salary + commission/bonus.

You will mentor a team of Sales Consultants, manage the used car department, structure deals with the finance team, and drive customer satisfaction to uphold our reputation for top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of Automotive Management experience.
• Strong background in used car valuations, inventory turn, and auction platforms.
• A lead-by-example mentality with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
• Proficiency with CRM software, inventory management tools (vAuto or similar), and desking software.
• A competitive spirit with a focus on growth and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor: Manage and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to meet and exceed monthly volume and gross profit targets.
• Inventory Management: Manage the used car department, including appraisals, pricing, and merchandising.
• Deal Structuring: Desk deals with finance to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Training: Conduct regular sales training and coaching to sharpen closing skills and product knowledge.
• Customer Experience: Ensure every guest receives a world-class experience, upholding the Subaru brand.
